The District 9820 Model United Nations Assembly (MUNA) will return to the Phillip Island Adventure Resort in 2018 on the weekend of Friday, Saturday and Sunday 18-20 May.

A warm welcome

District Governor Don Ripper reflects on friends, family and Rotary.

''Welcome to the first newsletter of the year and sincere thanks to PP Peter Simcock for taking on this critical communication role.

The untimely death of Rotary International President-Elect Sam Owori (pictured above) causes us to pause and remember how fragile life is and how important it is to connect with colleagues, friends and family.

The Rotary Club of Phillip Island and San Remo has been busy at the start of the new Rotary year recognising the contribution of three retiring members  and presenting a Paul Harris Fellowship to local community stalwart John Jansson (pictured above).
Yarram charity golf day

The Rotary Club of Yarram Inc will hold its very popular annual charity golf day on October 8, 2017 at the picturesque Yarram golf course, surely one of the prettiest in Gippsland.

The day, which will be in a four person Ambrose format for mens, ladies or mixed teams) will be at 10am for a 10.30am shotgun start. There is also a Ladies Only team event.

August is Membership and New Club Development Month

August is Membership Month, which means it’s time to celebrate your Rotary club, your members, and the good you do in your community and around the world.

There are many ways to join in the celebration, but here are a few activities to get you started:

  • Say it loud, say it proud! Let everyone in your social network know that you are a proud member by changing your Twitter and Facebook profile to the I’m a Proud Member graphic Copy and save the graphic as your profile picture for August. Go on, give it a go.
Working with youth

District Governor Don Ripper recently emailed all Rotarians with important news about guidelines and codes of conduct for working with youth.

Michael's milestone
The Rotary Club of Moe has joined with member Michael Koch to celebrate his great milestone of achieving 30 years of 100% attendance in the club.
