District Assembly & Avenues of Service 2018

The District Assembly is one of the most important events in the Rotary calendar. This is the one event where YOU get to learn about the particular part of Rotary that interests YOU! How good it that! The idea is to give you the tools to be an effective Rotarian. It doesn't matter if you have been a Rotarian for fifty years, or you have just joined. District Assembly is for EVERYONE.
My first District Assembly was very puzzling, so I am glad to see the puzzle has returned. I had no idea what District Assembly was about or why I was supposed to be there. I learned so much on the day and I was glad I made an effort. Experienced Rotarians were happy to offer guidance, the trainers were happy to train and the inexperienced were happy to ask as many questions as they needed answers for. I cannot wait to be part of the next one and I hope you will be joining me.
